Decedents' Estates
I cover all aspects of settling decedents' estates. I generally focus on nontaxable estates,
but I will work with your CPA or mine on the taxable estate. My focus is on marshaling the
assets of the estate quickly, paying the debts, and distributing without undue delay.
Nonetheless, many estates can take a year or more to process, especially if there are
disputes among family members.
I provide the same marshaling and distribution services for dissolving trusts, including
living trusts after the original trustors have died.
Probate costs
I offer probate services on an hourly basis, plus costs. Costs may include
filing fees and advertising costs.
